Privacy Policy

Perdisco turns podcasts, interviews, articles, and research into interactive summaries. This policy describes what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account information: your email address and a unique account identifier, stored with our backend provider Supabase when you create an account. We use them to sign you in and to associate your subscription with your account.

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address (or Apple's private relay address if you choose to hide it) and the name associated with that account. We use these only to create and sign you into your Perdisco account.

Purchase information: subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive subscription status (not your payment details) through Apple and our subscription-management provider RevenueCat, so the app knows what you have access to.

Learning activity: your saved items, learning stack, and practice progress are stored on your device. They are not synced to our servers today.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, show third-party advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

We do not collect your name, location, contacts, photos, or any content you did not give us.

Service providers

Supabase hosts our database and authentication (account email and identifier).

RevenueCat processes subscription status on our behalf (account identifier and purchase state).

Apple processes payment for subscriptions under its own terms and privacy policy.

Data retention and deletion

Your account data is retained while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account inside the app; this removes your account record from our systems.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Learning activity stored on your device is removed when you delete the app or your account.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by using the in-app deletion flow or contacting us at the address below.
